Our Story

Paul & Cherie

Thanks for checking out our site and we hope you feel at home here! I’d like to introduce myself and my husband, Paul Danis. 

I have had the privilege to come from a family of fine home builders. My parents built new homes in the Pacific Northwest starting in the late 1950’s. It’s what I’ve known my entire life. I’m so grateful for what I learned from them and the shared ventures with my siblings in the construction business. 

Paul and I have a work ethic which comes from a Proverb we have adopted that “a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches”. That about sums up our mission statement! Our goal is that when a house says Lang Homes, folks know to expect a consistently high-quality brand that possesses an extra dose of fine craftsmanship. Since we wish to honor my parents, we are carrying on their stellar name and reputation, thus the company name and logo they carried. 

Paul is the primary driver in our  efforts. It is due to his meticulous guidance and choice of subcontractors that guarantee a product of pride and enjoyment to call home.

Paul has owned Emerald State Drywall for over 20 years and you will find flawless Level 5 Smooth wall throughout each home.  We see it as the backdrop that sets the stage for our signature look.  

Paul’s experience in construction and how each stage builds upon the next have been a key component in providing value behind the walls.  In addition to being a pretty place, it’s a protected place!

I work with our design team in choosing interiors and staying abreast of the most desirable new material options.  I also contribute to our marketing as a Real Estate agent with Coldwell Banker Bain Global Luxury for over 27 years experience.

I am pleased to draw upon my experience of listing over 35 new construction plats as a means to incorporate what new home buyers appreciate; like oversized garages, outdoor living spaces and plush lighting. 

Family and Home are everything to Paul and I. We have 3 grown children with 3 lovely spouses and they have given us 11 amazing grandchildren all under 9.   We fondly refer to them as Eleven Heaven.
